Relationship between Parents’ Rearing Patterns and Senior High School Studengts’ Achievement Motivation
Abstract
This study on 300 students by questionnaires. With high school students, it is to be tried for parents upbringing, high school student achievement motive of the whole situation to grasp, parents upbringing specific affect how high school students understand the achievement motive. Hope those is heading for social high school students in recognizing that parents raise the way the influence on the next generation after achievement motive, proud of harm, conscious cultivation achievement motive of the next generation, and improve their quality of life, and make their health and more healthy. Adopt parents raise the way assessment scale (EMBU) were administered, achievement motive scale (AMS) to discuss ways of parents teaching achievement motivation relationship with high school students, the results show that:
(1) the parents upbringing in the gender factor there was a significant difference.
(2) achievement motivation in the gender factor differences in achievement motive level, significantly higher than girls boys.
(3) parents upbringing celebrates mother-child achievement motivation has an important role. Parents' emotional warmth understanding and achievement motive is very significant positive correlation, parental refused to deny negatively correlated with achievement motivation.
